A beautifully designed crockery unit makes your dining room complete. We design display crockery units with glass shutters, LED lighting and elegant storage that becomes a design centrepiece.
A crockery unit that is all glass displays looks cluttered. A unit that is all solid doors hides everything. We use the 30/70 rule - 30% glass display sections at eye level for beautiful items, 70% solid closed storage below for everyday items and bulky pieces. This creates visual interest while maintaining a clean look.
LED strips inside display cabinets are positioned to light the front edge of shelves, not the back. This illuminates the items on display without creating glare through the glass. The strips are hidden behind a lip so you see the light effect, not the light source.
The cutlery drawer is the most-used part of a crockery unit. We design it with segmented velvet liners that keep cutlery organised and prevent rattling. The drawer is soft-close and positioned at a comfortable height - not too low to bend, not too high to strain.
If a bar is integrated into the crockery unit, we position wine racks and bottle storage away from heat sources and at a height that is easy to access. Glassware for the bar is placed near the bar counter, separate from the main dining glassware. The organisation is designed for how the space is actually used.
