A pooja room is the spiritual heart of every Indian home. We design bespoke mandirs in premium HDHMR and Corian finishes - traditional or modern, crafted with the reverence these spaces deserve.
We consider traditional vastu principles in the design of every pooja room. The deity faces east or west depending on placement, and we position the mandir so the person performing puja faces north or east. These are not constraints - they are parameters that guide the design to create a space that feels right from the moment you enter.
A pooja room without organised storage quickly becomes cluttered. We design dedicated storage for diyas, incense, kumkum, chandan, aarti thalis and spare lamps - each with its own designated place, accessible without reaching across the deity. When every item has a home, the space remains peaceful and orderly.
The lighting in a pooja room is critical. We use warm white LED strips inside the mandir niche to create a gentle glow around the idols. Recessed spots focus on the aarti area. Diya holders are integrated into the design so that traditional oil lamps become part of the lighting composition, not an addition. The result is a space that feels sacred and serene at any time of day.
Pooja rooms are spaces where incense, camphor and oil are used daily. Materials must withstand this without degrading. We use sealed HDHMR board and Corian that resist staining from oils and smoke. Brass fittings are chosen for their patina over time. This is a space meant to last generations - we select materials that honour that intent.
